Little Scarlet Strawberry Conserve
Little Scarlet is Tiptree's signature conserve, a delicious dark crimson luxury jam made from the tiny, rare & intensely sweet Little Scarlet strawberry. The tiny berries are usually no larger than a 1p coin (up to 20mm).
Wilkin & Sons are believed to be the only commercial growers of this fruit anywhere in the world today, making Little Scarlet Conserve utterly unique to Tiptree.
Fruit varies season to season, this Little Scarlet strawberry harvest has been very delicate due to the very high temperatures experienced during growing/harvesting this year. Whilst the highest level of care was taken through all processes of picking, washing, sorting and storage, due to the delicate nature of the fruit, at times, we are finding that some of the fruit does not stay as whole as previous seasons. We will continue to maintain the highest levels of quality, and the flavour and texture of our special jam will be consistent, however the appearance may vary as the fruit sizes and shapes will vary within each batch.
